Overview

Clip is a clipboard history manager designed with privacy as a core principle. Your data stays on your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data.

Clip stores clipboard history locally on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not transmitted to any server
• Is not shared with any third parties
• Is not used for analytics or advertising

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored only on your device:

• Clipboard text content you copy
• Timestamps of when items were copied
• Your pinned items preferences

Data Retention

• OTP codes: Automatically deleted after 10 minutes
• URLs: Automatically deleted after 48 hours
• Plain text: Automatically deleted after 24 hours
• Pinned items: Kept until you delete them
• You can manually delete all data at any time in Settings

Keyboard Extension

The Clip Keyboard extension requires “Full Access” to function. This permission is used solely to:

• Read clipboard content when the keyboard is active
• Insert text into text fields

Even with Full Access enabled, no data is transmitted off your device.

Third-Party Services

Clip does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

In-App Purchases

If you purchase Clip Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Children’s Privacy

Clip does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date.
